Regent Motors makes a splash as the official automobile of the FINA/ARENA Swimming World Cup 2010

Automobile giant Regent Motors has announced its involvement with the FINA/ARENA Swimming World Cup 2010 as the official automobile. True to the company’s heritage of being committed to activities that benefit the community, this partnership reflects its interest in enhancing the world of fitness and athleticism. By showing its support for this world-class swimming event, it hopes to help encourage healthy competition, good performance and fair play in the world of sport.

Comprising seven meets in three continents, FINA/ARENA Swimming World Cup 2010 is a globally recognised competition where superior swimming athletes battle it out for top honours. The show of swimming prowess starts on 10 September 2010 in Rio de Janero (Brazil) and ends on 7 November 2010 in Stockholm (Sweden) with meets in Beijing (China), Tokyo (Japan), Berlin (Germany), Moscow (Russia) and of course, Singapore. The Singapore leg will take place from 16 to 17 October at the Singapore Sports School.

Regent Motors will help make waves for the event in Singapore with its Ford S-MAX, Mondeo and Galaxy models. These swift and innovative cars play an important role in the competition as vehicles that will be used to chauffeur the VIPs and sponsors during the course of the event. Singapore Swimming Association will be taking ownership of the cars from 12 to 19 October and will maintain the cars during this period of ownership.
